Come for the Yoga. Leave with Bhakti.
January 10, 2027 — January 22, 2027
Join Raghunath, Cindy Lunsford, and Bobbie Marchand for an immersive Bhakti Vinyasa Retreat in the sacred, natural setting of Govardhan Ecovillage.
Each day will offer a balance of structure and spaciousness. Morning sangha and asana will set the tone, followed by practice sessions designed to deepen, expand, and invigorate your relationship with yoga. Evenings will bring us back together in kirtan, where mantra, music, and community transform philosophy into a direct experience of devotion.
The Daily Rhythm
Each day follows a nourishing rhythm of practice, learning, devotion, and rest:
𖥸 Morning Sangha & Asana: Begin with grounding spiritual practice and an invigorating asana class for all levels
𖥸 Practice, Study & Exploration: Explore yoga through guided practice, workshops, philosophy, discussion, and teaching insights.
𖥸 Time to Restore: Rest, swim, explore the grounds, visit the temple and cows, shop, or book a wellness treatment.
𖥸 Evening Kirtan: Close the day with sacred chanting, rhythm, remembrance, and shared devotion.
Explore the Full Potential of Your Asana Practice
Throughout the retreat, Raghunath, Cindy, and Bobbie will each lead workshops reflecting their distinct approaches to asana and movement. Cindy teaches strong, sweaty, physically demanding classes that build strength, stamina, mobility, and focus through precise instruction and purposeful movement.
